I’m back at Femina, and I’m loving every second of it.
I’ve also gotten a few new tasks and I can’t wait to show you guys!
Unfortunately I’ll have to, can’t tell you much until every number is printed and out in the stores each month. But hang in there!

This months we’re also in a competition, “best cover of the month” !

Hi everyone! I know I haven’t been posting much lately, but I’m sort of on “vacation”. hehe.
In a couple of weeks I’ll be back at Femina, ready for another 3 months with layout!
Can’t wait to be honest.. At first I enjoyed the peace and quiet.. The long days with nothing on your schedule but walking the dog and eating.. But I’m starting to miss the busy days and the creativity.

From one thing to another..
I love my apartment. It’s still not “done”. Actually, it’s not even close to done if you ask me, but I need money to be able to buy some paint and new furniture. I must say that it’s kind of nice with the waiting though. Being able to just look at the white walls and imagine what you want.

I know this great website, created by adobe. It shows different colour settings and some of them truly are brilliant! This website helps me a lot. Everything from colouring different logo’s to your very own apartment! The samples above are from that webpage. Just a few i picked out to show you. Maybe the perfect colours for the living room? Or the kitchen? ;) Let the imagination flow!

This picture was taken a couple of weeks ago, when me and my boyfriend was out walking and taking photos. Winter had finally begun to withdraw and you could just barely feel the first signs of spring :) I found this tree that had a perfect spot for something you could carve in, and for some reason, I carved in the peace sign hehe.

The text that I’ve added is from Legend of the Seeker, I just love it. It’s probably one of the sayings that motivates me the most for some reason.

Hi guys, I haven’t been updating you for a while so I thought I’d hit you with this!
This is another layout made by me, and this is my favorite type of layouts.
I have pretty much completely free hands, they give me the pictures and the text and the rest is up to me (except for what fonts to use).
I just love these type of pages ‘cause theyre so much fun to do, like I’ve said before, it’s sort of like laying a puzzle. It can be annoying at first, but when you start to manage to fit the pieces together so that the page looks good, it’s one of the best feelings in the world! Woho!

I almost forgot to show you this! This is the most recent logo I sold!
It’s for a company called Företagsstiftaren.
It’s basically a company that helps people who wants to start a company to take over an already existing (but not used) company rather than creating a new one.This eliminates lots of administration and paperwork and it takes much less time than if you were to create a company from scratch.

uuuh… Did you understand? haha.

Anyways, I sold the logo through creators.se. There are many more freelance websites out there and it’s a smart way for freelancers / students etc to make some extra money every now and then, and also a great way to expand your portfolio!

Sorry if this post was a bit messy, but my mind is on vacation today.

Here’s another layout I’ve made! I have to admit, I’m kinda showing you this layout because I love the clothes, not because of the way I made the page ( This page looks pretty much just the same in each number, but with new clothes on it of course).

I want the pants! I don’t know why, but I really like them!
It looks chill but at the same time a bit dressy. Yeah, I’m so getting those pants.

If there’s something I really think is hard to draw it’s hands. But it’s also one of the most fun things to do. I love details, and even though I havent done much details to his picture, the whole hand itself is sort of detailed. If you know what I mean.
A single line, and it looks unnatural.

I’m not good at drawing, but I believe in “practice makes perfect”.
I drew this hand about a week ago, and it’s not perfect. But it is me. And there’s really no “wrong” way to draw. As long as you draw in your own way, and with your share of imagination.

I like this one in some weird way. I drew it with Promarkers, and I really need to buy more of them.

I should add that the picture is taken in a bad light, and then I tried to recapture the colours with photoshop.. Sorrryyy…
